Workflow for Issuing Graduation Certificates

Upon fulfillment of the graduation requirement at the University and with the University’s Senate, academic awards/ certificates are conferred on students.

The graduation certificate will be issued once only, as there will be no second printing. Students are therefore strongly advised to ensure the safe-keeping of this important document.

The Senate approves the list of prospective graduates in Senate meeting

* After the 5^th meeting, there will be five circulations for approving graduation qualification:

From 25^th June, 2024 to 27^th June, 2024;
From 10^th July, 2024 to 12^th July, 2024;
From 26^th July, 2024 to 30^th July, 2024;
From 12^th August, 2024 to 14^th August, 2024;
From 27^th August, 2024 to 29^th August, 2024;

The Graduate School updates graduation information in computer system

Registry prints certificates

Normally takes 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
The processing time takes longer during June due to large number of graduates. The certificates will usually be ready for collection in mid-July.
